A story of Skywatch’s journey building a serverless platform to consolidate and serve the world’s satellite imagery data. Jon is a data engineer at Skywatch, where he manages a range of data pipelines and builds backend microservices. Prior to Skywatch he was part of the Data Warehousing team at Facebook, before taking several years off to backpack around the world.
